ROBIN.NICHOLS.profile

Robin is a 30-something mother of two crazy little girls (her words, not ours). She started running in order to lose weight. Robin challenged herself to run the Disney Marathon nine months after the beginning of her weight loss journey and within that time, she lost 90 pounds and ran the Disney Marathon in 5:12.

While running her first marathon, she swore she would never do another. She says she was in so much pain that she thought it was a one and done. In January of 2012 she ran her 5th Disney Marathon and 16th marathon in 4 years. She has qualified for Boston twice and since then has run the Boston Marathon in 2012 and was lucky to finish quickly and safely in 2013.

Robin is always seeking a challenge. She has progressed to tackle triathlons where she has found nothing but success. Robin wears her VOmax triathlon gear because she loves the comfortability, mobility and overall fit. She took first in her age group and finished 6th overall at the Iron Girl Triathlon in Webster, Mass on July 21st but get this- she is competing at the Lake Placid Ironman only a week later!

GO ROBIN! VOmax exists because of athletes like you! You inspire us!
